Please do NOT sign up for Trupanion. I wish I had seen these negative reviews before I wasted my time and money. I only submitted one claim and the processing time was so lengthy that I was charged ANOTHER month. The judgement is STILL pending. Honestly, I could've used all the money I wasted on Trupanion for my pet instead. Edit: They denied my claim. Honestly, this company doesn't care about your furry family member. This has been made abundantly clear and they've done even worse to other people. Thank god my pet isn't going through anything serious. Can you imagine trying to make a serious claim with these HEARTLESS uncaring people. Please save yourself time, money and potential headache. Steer clear of Trupanion. Just in regards to the response form Trupanion. I had spoken to several representatives and my vet has even personally reached out to them on my pet's behalf. Long story short, this company will do whatever it takes to waste your time and deny your claim.

Healthy Paws has your back
I have had Healthy Paws pet insurance for approximately 4 years. It is easy to submit a claim. For each step of the process, I receive an e-mail: when the claim is received, when the claim is being reviewed (in process) and when the claim is completed. All of this happens very quickly (typically 2-3 days, although I have had approval in 12 hours and an occasional longer time frame). The explanation of benefits is always complete, and the claim is processed quickly. I have submitted 36 claims in the past 6 months and have not had a claim denied - they cover so much, including medication, testing, and procedures. When my dear pup needed her gall bladder removed in an emergency surgery, I knew that I would be able to get her the care she needed because Healthy Paws had my back. The large hospital bill was approved in two days and the check was received very quickly after.

Oh my God the spot dog insurance…
Oh my God the spot dog insurance company is amazing such big hearts I just lost my Cane Corso which was 11 months old I was only customer for 2 days and they went the extra mile make sure I had my refund and they called me with their condolences sent me a beautiful card saying how sorry they were for my loss I would highly highly recommend them what a company that cares they all have big hearts I would definitely recommend them

Terrible Customer Experience
They take 30-100 days to process a claim. In reading on Yelp, many people have had the same issue then they deny the claim. They have no way to contact them other than by calling.

Could not sign up online
Could not sign up online. Submitted payment information, and the page kept spinning and did not complete the transaction. I had to call in to enroll afterwards. They said there are issues with the online system and that this happens often.
