BIGGEST SCAM! My fiancé has paid into this insurance for years for his dog and when he got sick and needed tests and vet visits they claimed it to be pre existing. How can cancer be pre-existing??? He’s heartbroken to have lost his beloved pet and to have them reject his claims after the thousands he’s spent on insurance in the last 14 years is absolutely disgusting! Believe me we will let everyone we know what rip off this company is! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! EDIT. There is no way to reply to their reply. You make it look like you actually care but he did in fact dispute this with zero reply from you! If you were actually sorry you would be dealing with this appropriately and you aren’t. Stop scamming people!!!!

I am so grateful I chose Trupanion. When you need help and have any questions, there customer service is excellent, which is so hard to find in this day and age. They are so friendly and so understanding. Because they direct bill with my veterinarian, it has made issues so much easier and less stressful. Once you initially pay your deductible, any time you have to return to your veterinarian for follow up care for that issue you only pay the 10 percent. This has made care so much affordable. I never expected to have to use my insurance. However we have had emergencies concerning my dog. It is such a blessing to have had someone on the phone any time 24 hours a day. To reassure you and help you get through a horrible time when you were not sure where to turn, Thank you Trupanion. Your company is the best.

I used the insurance when my Australian Shepard tore his ACL. I was expecting the claims process to be slow and difficult. I’m happy to say it was very easy and I was reimbursed super fast. I highly recommend Pumpkin! I researched for a while before I finally purchased, I’m glad I chose Pumpkin!
