10 Years of Coverage - Amazing!
I had my German Shepherd insured by Trupanion since he was 8 weeks old and I cannot say enough good things about this company. They do exactly what they say they will do, they are caring and supportive and they have amazingly empathetic support personnel if you need to contact them. Unfortunately I had to let my beloved boy go last week after almost 10 years of life together. Having Trupanion coverage gave me a great deal of confidence throughout his life whenever there was a need to go to the vet. At the end, they were there for us. I will always insure my pets with them, and I wish they covered horses, too!

I have had health insurance on my dog…
I have had health insurance on my dog for 5 yrs and fortunately I haven’t had to use it until now. My dog became I’ll very quickly it ended up being bloat and I rushed him to the emergency hospital it happened on a Sunday evening. They did an X-ray and found he had bliss and he needed surgery NOW. I had to pay a total of $5600 and thank god for pets best I was able to afford to do this knowing I would get most of the cost refunded. It only took them 2 weeks and the money is in my account. Thank you once again for everything

I submitted a claim for my cat that had some dental work done. Not only did Pets Best keep me updated throughout the entire claim process, but they were super prompt and efficient, and outlined the explanation of benefits very clearly.

Figo will deny every claim you make
Figo will deny every claim you make as a "pre-existing" condition and make you fight to get the claim made. They scour your pet's medical records for anything even remotely related to the claim and they deny based on "pre-existing condition". Then, when you push back they will straight up lie and gaslight you. They seem to intentionally make it as difficult as possible to get a claim approved so that you'll give up. Despite my cat not showing any past symptoms or diagnosis related to claims I've made they have denied them. Then, when I point out they are wrong, they changed their story. They have given me three different reasons for denying my claim. Don't waste your money on this scam of a company.

I have been a customer for more than 10 years and finally a friend I referred mentioned the $25.00 referral fee. I have been back and forth on several calls and have gotten nowhere fast. Why after my 10 years of loyalty and more than $25,000. can't I get a small referral fee of $25.00 I am quite disappointed

The cost was 50% cheaper compared to other companies, for the same benefits. I have been searching for years to find "Affordable" Health Insurance for my middle-aged Fur Grandbaby and was unsuccessful until now. Now my baby is covered if something should occur. ACL/CCL Coverage - Easy and Fast!
When my dog tore his CCL (ACL) at age 3 I was very concerned that we would not be able to afford his surgery and his rehab that would help optimize his recovery. We got Healthy Paws pet insurance when he was a puppy and thankfully that covered everything up to 90% after we met our deductible (met this very quickly with the cost of surgery). Not only did they easily cover the surgery without any push back but they also have been covering his physical therapy. They covered physical therapy both before surgery (water treadmill and laser therapy) to keep him strong before surgery and now they have continued to cover physical therapy after surgery. The surgery was 4700 dollars and they covered 90% of this and then PT is about 1000 dollars per 8 sessions and they are also covering 90% of this. We uploaded our bill and vet notes on the day of surgery and I had a direct deposit within days into my bank account for the reimbursement. Over the years they have also been easily putting minor issues towards his deducible without pushback (allergies, a skin infection from his seasonal allergies, etc.). I cannot recommend getting pet insurance enough - it has helped us so much through this surgery.

Our puppy gave us a scare …
Our tiny puppy gave us a scare and needed evaluation for a possible blockage in her gut and treatment for a urinary infection. We had a great experience with our vet and with Embrace. I feel confident that we'll have the support we need in the future.
