CAUTION ⚠️ When I got fetch for my Bulldog in 2017 it was about $90 per month. Unlimited coverage, 90% co pay and $400 deductible. The following year my monthly rate went up by almost a hundred dollars. I called and asked why and they said it was in the fine print. They have the right to increase premiums as they see fit. At this point she had pre existing conditions so to get another insurance was not really ideal. I continued my insurance with fetch for a few more years. Each year it would increase by nearly a $100 a month. Long story short by the time she was 7 they were asking for $500 a month, lowered her annual coverage from unlimited to $15,000 and changed the copay to 80%. deductible remained $400. I canceled it that year I’d rather swipe my credit card and make the monthly payments to AMEX at least I get aeroplan points. Such scammers. Side note they did cover every claim I submitted but at what cost. $6000 a year plus $400 deductible…..for 15 grand in coverage and your still paying 20% of the bill.

They'll take your $$..won't give it back

After 2 years of handing PetsPlusUs our monthly fees and not making 1 claim i decided to cancel the policy ( I'll bank $155/month myself) .Policy was cancelled Feb 7th...today is April 13th and I've yet to receive my premium refund seeing i cancelled 2 days after they took out their money from my bank. I had to email them first time in March- i was informed cheque was in the mail. Screw the 14 business day crap they tell you ...its been over 40 now!! Pet insurance is the biggest scam ever!! I wouldn't touch PetsPlusUs even if it was free. If I could give them less than 1 star I would!!!! Horrible company!!!!

I was about to write a comment when I came across yours, which is absolutely spot on. PetsPlusUs is the worst pet insurance company ever. They take an eternity to process each claim, and at the end of the day, they don’t even give you anything in return. HORRIBLE COMPANY

Easy and fast claims

Its pretty easy to file and fast to get refunds. but only 1 complain is that the claims and the refunds are not 1 to 1, meaning I have to figure out which refund belongs which claim.

The app is terrible, CS is great

The app is terrible. Every time I had to leave the app to get required information, the form I was trying to fill out was reset when I minimized the Fetch app. This applies to both bank information and claim information. It took a call to customer service to get a real story on what happened with my claim, as I got one email that said it was refused, and one that said it was approved. I do have to say that customer service was awesome. By the way, someone might want to proofread the email your company is sending out, as mine said, “Your feedback helps make for healthier pets and appier pet parents…” I assume that was meant to say happier pet parents.
