I researched pet insurance & found Pet’s Best to be the best price for the coverage. Although my shihtzu was very healthy, he was getting older & I knew if he had any major health issues, I could not afford his care.I am so thankful I made this decision. In the past year my sweet boy has had some issues. Thanks to Pet’s Best I have been able to get him all the tests & treatments he needs. They are very timely about reimbursing me once I met my deductible. I highly recommend them.

Very happy with this company!
PetsBest is excellent for pet insurance! It covered everything on my recent vet bill, applied my deductible and coinsurance, and while I received a very small refund, this was due to the plan that I had chosen. Now that I’ve met my deductible I should see more affordable pet care for the remainder of the year. My only complaint was how slow it was to have this claim processed. I would like to see improvement in the speed with which claims are processed. That was the only reason for giving a four versus a five star rating

Great insurance and caring staff to help you with your claims
The staff of Trupanion has been great to work with in resolving claims and the insurance has been a godsend for our adopted Jack Russell Terrier mix that we rescued almost 3 years ago. Cassie has had more issues that the 3 pure bred dogs we have had, although they had their own medical issues. Not knowing the background of a rescued dog however, makes it doubly important that you have insurance to take care of treatments for conditions that were neglected by her previous owners or accidental conditions or disease occurrences that are always unforseen. We are extremely happy with the resolution of all of our invoices in a fair manner and this has allowed us to continue to seek treatment for Cassie that we might not have been able to continue without the coverage provided by Trupanion. We would highly recommend that especially people who adopt rescue dogs, have insurance to cover their health needs because their health histories are typically unknown.

First time purchasing pet insurance
First time purchasing pet insurance so have not idea what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised when our pup needed surgery before he was a year old. Their approval and claims process is timely and claims are paid much quicker than i had anticipated.
