USE ANYONR BUT NATIONWIDE
Nationwide pet insurance is useless in NY. For a bill of over $300 for Entiritis (where my dog wasn't eating or drinking for three days) guess what they paid? $83. Tell me what vet in Rockland County NY treats even an ear infection for less than $100. They are such a disappointment. VIP (my original pet insurance) was so much better. I will NEVER use them for any of my future pets.

Trupanion Never again
Terrible experience with this company's insurance coverage. It was completely below my expectations. The support staff was inefficient and didn't seem to understand my needs. The company failed to provide the customer-focused experience I was looking for. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. In addition, over the course of three years, our membership fee was nearly $3600, and we accumulated $1618 in claims, and $6.23 was being covered. Enough said!

Don't!
This is an awful company. They screw up what's needed for reimbursement, and you have to fight with them for weeks! They have jacked up the prices so much in 4 years, I'd switch if my dogs current conditions would be covered by someone else. I can't stand this company.

Takes the stress out of healthcare for our dogs!
Having a pet confronted with a serious health condition is difficult. Balancing the financial impact of healthcare choices for your pet is incredibly stressful. Easy-peasy
My insurance coverage with Pets Plus Us is fairly limited, but in the claims that I've made, they've been nothing but courteous, helpful and kind. They've been so easy to deal with. Claims are also processed in a reasonable amount of time. I have no complaints, and I would definitely return to them for future policies.
