Good coverage for the price

Good coverage for the price and friendly staff. Haven’t had to submit a claim yet so can’t comment on the process or the payments.

Still Waiting on a Claim from June 2022 (9 months later)

I submitted a claim in June 2022. They kept asking for my dog's medical history over and over. Finally, in October, a representative said they finally had everything and the claim would process. It is now March 2023 and I'M STILL WAITING!!! There's no direct number for the corporate office so I cancelled the insurance. I'll go with a competitor. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - PURCHASE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Peace of Mind

My boy, like many of the readers,is a wonderful member of our family. He never had any major medical issues. He is 8 Last november.. he developed a quick onset of pneumonia and I mean quick.Went to vet immediately. They stated after the initial intravenous drip that he needed to be transported to Emergency Medical Center which we did.We got him thru critical stage but with the best treatment we still have not got him pneumona free.Trupanion has been there every step of the way.Thankyou Trupanion.

Excellent Support when you need it most!

Embrace Pet Insurance is all they claim to be and much, much more! Their turn-around time is consistent and expeditious. When I work with the Embrace team, I feel like their #1 priority during all correspondence, be it email, phone call, or text. When my precious little princess was diagnosed with cancer, the Embrace team was right there to ensure my coverage options were clear and I was supported in every way possible during one of, if not the most challenging time in my adult life. Thanks so much, and I will continue to share your excellent customer service and support with all my pet parents and animal lovers! Bridgette A.

Great experience signing up

I only just purchased this insurance so don't know if it does well with reimbursement. But I did have a great experience talking with Jennifer. She answered all my questions and there were many. I thought she went above and beyond just answering but giving good advice. She had lots of experience working in a vet office and it was evident in her explanations.

save your money without insurance

My cat has had insurance through trupanion since 2011-2012, but Trupanion is claiming he wasn't enrolled until 2018. so that's a huge red flag. We enrolled the dog we adopted in 2018 but cancelled less than a year later because, even though the dog was on heartworm prevention, wound up getting heartworm and the insurance wouldn't cover any part of the $1200+ treatment - this got me to look more into what they do and not cover, and surprise - they cover nothing. don't waste your money and instead just put it away for emergencies. this "date of experience" only lets me enter one date - but i promise it's been about 11 years of wasted time and money.
