Absolutely the worst insurance company
Absolutely the worst insurance company. I have been waiting over 58 days for a claim to be processed(total spent on vet in the last 58 days is $2200+). I have called over 10 times to check in on the claim and to make sure all documents were good. There were a few issues on my end that were resolved(incorrect pet name on records. The vet misspelled by ONE letter). I have emailed medical records and itemized receipts multiple times! Something is always wrong or missing. I had my vet call and ask exactly what they needed. The vet has emailed and sent fax records, items receipts and receipts paid. No one ever knows what is going on or how long more it will take to process. I have asked for the supervisor or manager, nothing. A few times I was tole everything was good and is being processed to only get an email, not even a call, to let me know something is missing. Emails were just generic emails, didnt specific spell out what needed to be done. It is so frustrating! I had 3 dogs signed up with petsbest since October 2021. After having to constantly check on my claim I removed 2 of my pets. They are losing business cause they don't have their act together. Avoid this company at all cost!

Trupanion Helped Save My Dog's Life
My puppy Murphy turned out to be very injury- and illness-prone (Murphy's Law), and we have had a lot of unforeseen vet visits and expensive treatments. Thanks to Trupanion ($0 deductible), I have been able to provide him with the best possible medical care such as medication, emergency treatment when he became severely ill at barely 2 years old (1 year of ongoing treatment), diagnostic imaging for a back injury ($3800 before coverage), and complex surgery when he recently broke his leg ($4200 before coverage), not to mention allergies, arthritis, and more. The high costs of veterinary care are often prohibitive to owners being able to pay for those treatments, especially as dogs age and have increasing healthcare needs. Trupanion has literally helped to save Murphy's life, and I cannot express my gratitude enough for that.

Healthy Paws - Highly Recommend
I've been a Healthy Paws customer since December 2016 and they've been great to work with and I highly recommend. I currently have two cats (12 and 7) and have submitted several claims (the younger was diagnosed with CKD in 2018 and the older has had occasional health issues with his heart and lungs). Every claim I've submitted (most recently for an illness for Arnold that involved chest xrays, an echocardiogram, and an ultrasound - very scary day!) has been processed efficiently, reasonably, and fairly. Their customer service has been great to work with, and I received a direct deposit on my claim within one week. Normally it processes even as fast as 24 hours - they're great. Highly recommend!

Best choice for us
After doing my research and knowing that I have a pet that has a pre existing condition that could be covered after 18 months of no symptoms, I decided this was the right company for us to insure our pets. I included both our dogs and the online system was easy to use and fast. We were sent the policy through email as soon as we completed the sign up and paid. I can't speak for how it will work if we need it but for now, I feel better having it in place.

Easy & fast!
This was my first claim with Lemonade. It was just for a routine vet visit with blood work, shots and a check up. I filed the claim sitting in traffic - on a Saturday - on my way home from the vet & I was helped and my claim approved almost instantly. It was so quick and easy, I was shocked. This sounds like a paid for review, but I promise it’s not - they paid for everything except her pre-existing condition needs, which was expected. I definitely don’t regret buying pet insurance and had been on the fence for years. Glad I found lemonade!

Website was not working properly
Website was not working properly- it would not allow me to add the wellness plan. Also gave me an error message that my request wasn’t processed for the accident & illness coverage but my card was charged. I had to call to verify if I was or wasn’t enrolled. The person I spoke with on the phone was very nice and helpful. She confirmed I was enrolled and helped me add the wellness plan.
