You have insurance and you hope you never have to use it. After two years of coverage, my Teddy got sick and had to stay overnight in the ICU. The claims process was easy and efficient. I received my reimbursements within a few days.

Never had to submit a claim so can't comment on that. However the response to other inquiries has been good. A little disappointed on how initial pricing was attractive but quickly followed by sharp price increases year after year. Your pricing actuaries should sharpen their pencils.

Grateful We Continued Our Coverage
We have had Trupanion insurance on our beloved 9 yr old dog since we got him. Honestly, I considered dropping it early last year since we had received very little benefit over the years....and then it happened. Our dog received a cancer diagnosis and we were able to successfully treat him while receiving coverage for close to 90% of the cost which was...substantial. He is in remission, but also suffers from an auto-immune disorder which requires ongoing treatment, drugs & tests by a specialist. Most of those costs have also been covered by almost 90% as well. I realize now that our insurance is really for catastrophic coverage and I am grateful that we were able to treat our dog successfully without worrying about the cost.
