I'm a believer in preventive medicine for myself, so why not for my Lola? Additionally, the dozens of customer reviews about quick and easy reimbursement made the decision a no-brainer.

Trupanion is a 5 star company
I have had Trupanion since 2011- insuring 4 of my dogs. I never had to use it on one of my labs( fortunately) I never had to think about taking care of my other three because of Trupanion. Claims were handled rapidly and I was reimbursed with 3-4 days. Trupanion is a 5 star company.

Extremely professional, fair, and transparent insurance company.
I was one of PHI Direct's early customers and I took a chance on them when my previous provider closed up shop. Since the very start, I have found their sign up and fees to be very reasonable and easy to understand. I appreciate the level of professionalism in the documents they send and in their customer service communication. There are no surprises since everything is laid out clearly in the paperwork. Making a claim was super easy, and they answered any and every question I had very transparently. I am very happy with this company and hope to be with them for as long as I have my cats!

Customers for life
We've had both our pugs insured for nearly two years, and we had never filed a claim up until a few weeks ago. One of them had to go to the ER and stay overnight for treatment and monitoring. I submitted two claims (he was at 2 locations for treatment), and they were both reviewed and approved in less than a week. I expected it to take over a month, especially since it was our first claim and they had to look at his medical history, etc. Throughout the stressful few days while he was fighting for his life, we knew we were insured and didn't have to make any hard decisions if the treatment costs started shooting up. We'll be customers for life, without a doubt.

Preexisting conditions?
I couldn't tell from the website whether ManyPets offers lifetime or annually renewable pet insurance. My concern is whether something that happened one year became a preexisting condition for the next renewal year. I was able to get an answer from the user support, which is that is annually renewed but without new preexisting conditions the following year. My question was answered quickly and professionally, and I decided to buy their offering. Having said that, it would have been nice to have the answer be easily found on the website. This is the only reason why this review is 4 stars rather than 5.

An Insurance company who cares about their customers and their clients [ animals ] .
We experienced a traumatic episode with the surgery and long recovery of our dog . Trupanion was there for us during the entire time . We knew that we had our backs covered and that our decision almost ten years ago purchasing Millie's policy was the right one . A great company who really cares .
