Many Plans Make it Hard to Chose
I chose Pets Best after doing some comparing. Of course you don't know how good a company is until you need them. Within the last 3 years their claim turnaround has been quick. They also send out an email letting you know that they are working on it. After the first year I dropped the wellness plan because the reimbursement was not significant enough in my opinion.. I feel that the yearly wellness exam and vaccinations can be budgeted for. However the Accident and Illness Policy is a must for pet parents as one serious illness, accident ,or chronic condition can add up to a very large unexpected expense or put you in debt. I was very glad that we made the choice to get pet insurance immediately upon adopting our puppy and was very happy we chose Pets Best.
