The long recovery
Thank you for being there in our time of need, the vet basically gave sparky back to us to spend his last few days in his home, he was half is weigh and could not move on his own nor eat ot drink water. Slowly feeding him with a syringe of blended food and making him drink he slowly started to recover, after two weeks he was able to move a bit on his own then a relapse, around of new more aggressive antibiotics treatment he started feeling better and then yet another relapse. After a specialist did a biopsy on his liver come to see that he has E. coli as well and was given a specific antibiotic for that and after period of time with diet change medication and supplements heâs on the road to recovery Iâm happy to say!

Non-plussed by Coverage
$1000 vet bill, $400 deductible, and only $273 was covered. Whatâs the point of having insurance if it covers so little of the cost of an injury treatment?

The best pet insurance company!
You all have been great about any claims we have put in. It definitely makes it easier to take care of our dog knowing that we don't have to choose money over her end-of-life care. And because of that, I think she's lived far longer than anyone thought or could have hoped for! Thank you for being great. We've recommended Trupanion to lots of friends with new pets.
