The day we needed to bring her to the vet was the day our membership kicked in, Storm was diagnosed with environmental or food allergies, and since then she has probably experienced every single kind of non life threatening issue that you could think of. Storm also required a bilateral CCL TPLO surgery in 2019. It was an estimated $12,000, before aftercare.
Without Trupanion we would have been in a hard spot, we would have needed to sell everything we could to fix her legs. Since then my girlfriend and I have shared our story and advocated for people to pursue your services. Just this year my mother in law's golden retriever tore her CCL and now requires surgery as well, without having it she would not be able to afford a cast for her leg or to get the surgery.
