It went real quick for a Cytopoint allergy injection. I had a question about conditioner and Briana came out into the lobby with some helpful recommendations. We always take Freyja to Spike/Houle’s after our vet visit and she always gets a treat; they love Aussies!

Always so pleased with my experience at South Shore! I recommend them to all family & friends that have pets. They genuinely care and take excellent care of our fur babies! From routine care, urgent care, sickness, injuries, surgeries etc they have always provided TOP notch service. I’m so grateful for all the vets, techs and staff. I have been using south shore for 15+ years and will never stop!

We recently moved to Forest Lake and found ourselves needing urgent veterinary care. After initially consulting with a different vet, we sought a second opinion and gathered recommendations from locals, many of whom suggested South Shore. Our husky had sustained a pretty severe leg injury that required TPLO surgery, and South Shore QUICKLY accommodated us. Dr. Joe ensured Indigo received top-notch care. Fast forward two weeks, and we're so happy with her progress. She's healing remarkably well, and her personality has even returned. Surprising Indigo was pretty eager to get into the vet office today! This investment in her care was absolutely worthwhile, and we're immensely grateful for the expertise provided by this office.

Generally, the clinic is very good at taking care of our pets. The low rating is because we dropped off two of our house cats for an appointment, and when we came back, they told us they accidentally sent one home with someone who runs an outdoor cat sanctuary! It was quite the fiasco to get her back, between everyone involved, and there was no reason for the mix-up. The other cat was "Hank-the-tank" They were massive and in a kennel vs. the tiny carrier our kitten was in, (which was identical to the carrier of the other cat we had brought in at the same exact time) and they even had name tags one the carriers. They did refund the cost of the appointment to us, but it is simply something that never should have happened. Better confirmation should be used for pick-ups.

I am absolutely crushed by my visit. I brought my old sweetheart cat in after a two week wait for a bump on his cheek and was told it was just an old tooth that needed to be pulled. Two weeks later get him in for the process of pulling it and they discover it actually may be a tumor and they were wrong and tell me I should put him down in the next two months (the bump was this small). then see a different vet to see if they’ll remove it which had taken another week for them to even look at him and was told if it was smaller they could’ve done the surgery. So I wasted 4 weeks of being able to save my cat for this ridiculous vet and now told I’m too late due to how much this vet had me running around/waiting for some surgery that was wrong while his tumor continued to grow and take up his face.
