Awful
I've paying fetch for two years nothing happened until I made a 500 ish small claim then my monthly payment went up immediately. Better part is that they don't even notify me with any email. Which means they will charge you whatever they want. Then I want to cancel got listening their music for at least half hour in the morning working time.

Every time I have submitted a claim into the company, and mind you this year was not a great year for my pup, they have paid in a super timely manner as long as they have the required information. I highly recommend Healthy Paws if you are going to take out insurance on your pet. Separately, they send follow up email to see hw your pet is doing. super nice, professional and very easy to work with! Thank you!!

Claims are taking longer than necessary !
My puppy is only 3 months old and receiving her Preventive Vaccines needed to keep her healthy. My first claim was easy, no problems. Reimbursement maybe took 3 weeks, no problem. The second set of vaccination claim I sent in was on April 25, 2023. I received an email May 10,2023 @ 9:29am stating claims are taking longer than usual. I am a new client and researched this pet insurance as best I could. My puppy is going to be tiny, the most she will weigh full grown is probably 10-15 lbs. She is very tiny and each time she receives her vaccinations, she has reactions for that day and I have to call the vet to find out what I need to do for her pain. She had her 3rd round of vaccinations and tried to submit a claim! Lord and behold it took an act of congress to fill in and upload documentation, after filling out information and tried to submit claim it would not submit the claim. What's the problem? They are going to receive a bank draft each month for my Furbabies Insurance. Would you like for me to make it non user friendly to receive your monies!!!!!, and state sorry for the delay in processing? This is uncalled for, especially for seniors on limited income putting our Trust in your company!!!!

I can honestly say
I had a puppy that got very sick during transport to me and I was devastated. I was notified that his costs were approved by Trupanion and that lifted a huge weight of of me in an already set of circumstances, that was very upsetting for me. I can honestly say, regarding my experience, there isn’t anything that needs to be changed. The people I have spoken to from Trupanion are courteous and they actually make a difficult experience, a much easier one. It is really too bad that all types of insurance pet or otherwise, could operate or have the same compassion as I feel Trupanion genuinely does.
