My pets have only been insured by Trupanion
My pets have been insured by Trupanion from when they were younger. I never thought I would need to use it until my pup Brody, tore his ACL. Trupanion was there to help, same with the other ACL. Trupanion paid 90% of the bill after I met the deductible. Brody also had old man bumps and a lot of them got removed throughout the years. When I met the deductible of his bumps getting removed, they paid the 90% for the rest of his life. My buddy then developed a tumor in his chest and went through chemotherapy. Trupanion helped so much to keep him healthy as long as he could stay healthy. My pup was 14 years old when his body couldn't handle the chemo anymore and his kidneys shut down. Trupanion helped out so much from the age of 6-14. He lived a long, adventurous life and it was thanks to Trupanion and helping with the bills. I now have my other 2 dogs and 1 cat under the policy and I know they will be covered if or when anything bad happens.

I have used Trupanion now for three different pet dogs, two of which eventually died of medical conditions, and Trupanion came through for me in both instances, paying a generous portion of the bill, without any hassles. They made the entire nightmare of a pet's death so much easier. I give them five stars without hesitation.

Love Lemonade!
My pup is all boy and very injury prone. I think my Lemonade rep knows me by heart 🤭 But they are always efficient, timely, and the claims process is extremely streamlined. I use it for emergency services because those can really pile up at the vet and my claims are usually processed within a week after a short explanation and submission of forms from the doctor! Super easy and painless. Customer service is great as well.

We just signed up so not sure of the coverage. It was recommended by two vets! For 1200 a year we will see if it’s worth it. I did take the 1000 deductible because literally it adds a 1000 a year if you don’t, so I will take the chance. I have never spent a 1000 at the vet and my dog is six years old! So basically it gives me the leverage to alllow tests etc down the road if needed knowing I have coverage. I’ll try it for a year or two!
