There when we needed them
I've had 2 kitties insured for a number of years and recently added a 13 year old rescue kitty, super easy process to do so. Plus one of my original kitties just because pretty sick, including hospitalization. The vet has the Trupanion software and the claims plus pre authorization have been processed same day with clear $ amounts on what will be covered, giving me great peace of mind at a very stressful time.

Their phone people really good esp…
Their phone people really good esp Vanessa. They talk a good talk but when it comes to a specialist is a huge problem. I think they do not have working vets with years of experience. I think they read google articles and pick one out of 20 to deny. And then they WILL NOT talk to you to debate. My Reka went I. For what we thought was routine allergy. wrong by me and the vet. She has MRSA then she got mange. They denied coverage. They are very high on costs and in this deal went sour. Make sure the phone takers guarantee specialist(s) to help resolve. Many of the phone people thought I was correct. I had to quit them.

Trupanion is worth every penny. The customer care representatives are excellent! They clearly and succently answer any type of clients questions, resolve issues in real time and are a delight to deal with. Trupanion exceeds all my expectations!

Good insurance but very slow
Insurance covers a lot but claims take forever to get returned. So don’t expect the reimbursement for at least a month. Plus my vet is not listed on their app so it takes longer for me due to having to only do email correspondence.
