Good Health advice for our loved pets.
I like the knowledge of having insurance for our pet "BUSTER" , but I need a copy of the insurance policy so I can be surer of what I am able to us your insurance for. Some how our policy has gotten lost. Buster is a RESCUE dog and we are learning he has some medical problems (intestinal/skin) which require regular shots on various medicines. Please send us a copy. When I signed up for wellness insurance it seemed like a much better idea than it does now. If you have your dog spayed they don’t pay for teeth. The flea and tick medication and heart worm medication are very limited. If I knew then what I knew now I would not have signed up. Read the fine print!

I have had Met Life Pet Insurance for Riley since he was 6 months old. He has always had issues with his allergies condition and any claims that I submitted to MetLife were paid within a month at most after I sent them into their claims department. Their representatives always called for any clarifications that they needed on the claims and my vet's invoices were approved and paid to me after I had paid the vet up front.

Claim Review Time is Excessive - Don't Recommend
I've had a lot of difficulty getting my pet's Emergency Visit reimbursed and it's been over 30 days. It took 30 days for a claim representative to finish reviewing the claim and, when I called, the customer service representative wouldn't give me a timeline and wasn't helpful; I asked to speak to a claims representative at the end of the call and she said they don't have direct extensions. Healthy Paws was highly recommended by local pet owners, but I'm starting to regret choosing this as my pet insurance. It was really scary experience going to the Emergency Vet.
