Thankful we have insurance
For the third time in five years we have had to file a claim with Embrace. We are thankful we have insurance for our eight year old Boxer and grateful for the ease of filing a claim and amount we received.

Been covered since 8 weeks but they want proof with each claim that the illness was not pre-existing …
We signed up for this coverage when our puppy was 8 weeks old. Given this, any claim for illness/injury would have happened within his coverage period. He is now 9 months old and we have submitted three claims. Each time, the company asks for records from every vet he’s ever seen to make sure it’s not pre-existing. With the last claim, they requested records from the wrong vet. I responded in their app and by email three times. I finally had to call to get this corrected. That said, the claim submission process is very simple and user friendly. Hence the three stars instead of two.

Embrace was amazing during a chaotic time.
When I took my new puppy to his first Vet visit, May 2022, Embrace was one of three insurance companies my vet recommended. After going home and visiting websites and reading the brochures I decided Embrace would work best for us. Best decision ever! Fast forward to September 2023 and Baxter began having some issues with lethargy, appetite, and leg weakness a visit to my vet and several test later we were referred to a vet specialist who then diagnosed him with Atypical Addison’s. A week later Baxter was back at the vet in full Addison’s crisis and another trip to the vet specialist. I had just gotten around to submitting a claim to Embrace for the first two visits and now would be submitting two more. This has all been chaotic and emotional and through it all the last thing I needed was problems with the insurance. Let me tell you the staff at Embrace are wonderful. They are quick to let you know the claim was received and being processed and then when it’s processed they let you know right away how much is covered and then like magic the refund appears in your bank account. Our last visit was on a Monday and I filed the claim by phone on Tuesday. My refund hit my bank on Thursday of the same week. It’s so nice to be able to file a claim so easily and then have the entire transaction finished within a week so you no longer have to worry about it.

So grateful
I couldn't be happier about my experience with Embrace. When my dog had a major injury and required surgery, they quickly pre-certified the procedure, and once I received and sent the final bill, they reimbursed me within 2 weeks. Each person I communicated with, either by phone, email or via the portal, was professional, helpful and lovely. Like all insurance, you wish you didn't have to use it. I'm so grateful I had Embrace when I needed it most.

Your online programs don't work well. I had to call you to enroll because your online enrollment web page wouldn't let me complete the process. I have been unable to create an account because you NEVER send me the enabling email message.
