Extremely poor service

My GSD was diagnosed with a very aggressive and fatal cancer in October 2022, he was only 6 years old. After aggressive treatment to maintain a quality of life, he died the following month. It was heartwrenching. What made it worse was the extremely poor service from Healthy Paws that caused me so much anxiety and upset, that I want to warn others. They have multiple agents around the country, a lot of them nice, but poorly-trained. I got different stories every time I called, they continued to bill my credit card even after my dog was dead, said it was "necessary to keep the claims open". That is not true and against the law. I did eventually receive a refund. My first upload of records came with a thank you for records from a cat clinic, he was a dog. Uploads of information was only partially received by them. I copied over a hundred pages of records and mailed it certified mail, return receipt, received Dec 9th. They did not upload the records until December 14th. I keep getting emails asking for records even on December 24th, Christmas Eve!! Apparently the agents are not trained to look under scanned items. Finally on December 28th, I spoke to a manager, told her my lawyer advised me to make this my last phone call, and threatened them with NY State Dept of Finance, Insurance Divison. I demanded all my claims to be pulled back, given to one agent, to tell them to look under scanned documents. My claims were paid the next day. I should not have been put through the constant emails demanding information already provided. Finally, at the beginning of this, I was told by an agent that I only needed one claim form for all 13 bills, when in fact I needed 13 claim forms, one for each bill. I have not been compensated for my time telling them how to do their job, the constant harrassment of e-mails asking for information already provided, the inability for anyone to actually take the next step in the process, and the anxiety and constant tears this whole process cost me. I would not recommend this insurance company to anyone, be prepared to fight for what you pay your monthly fees pay for. Horrible.

Truly a lifesaver, no maximum caps on your pet's life and wonderful customer service

Will be forever grateful to HealthyPaws for their high level of service and kind consideration to pet owners! After doing extensive research into pet insurance company reviews and policies, we decided upon HealthyPaws insurance for my 5-year-old pit mix last year, and they are truly a lifesaver. My pit tore both ACLs in the span of two months and HealthyPaws was quick to respond to claims and was genuinely concerned for his well-being, ensuring my pet received the best care possible in his time of need. The biggest benefit of this plan is that HealthyPaws has no maximum on reimbursements, and as every pet owner knows you cannot put a price on your pet's life, and it's truly wonderful to see that HealthyPaws agrees with that sentiment and truly values their customers. They do not take responsibilities and waste my time

The accident happened on June 04, 2022. The other drunk driver crashed the left rear tire of my car. after contacting sonnet, they told me if I chose another auto shop instead of sonnet approved one to repair my car, there is no lifetime guarantee for my car. Then I accepted their assigned auto shop Assured automotive at 457 King Street E. The day when I picked up my car after 3 Months, I discovered when I locked the car, the driver's side door didn't lock at all. I had to give the car back for them to fix it. This demonstrates that Assured Auto did not take the necessary FINAL steps to ensure the car was in proper working condition before giving it to me. It is unrealistic to expect that I, as a customer, can spot all hidden issues upon receiving the car. After two weeks, I was told to pick up my car. After driving home, I found the tier pressure system doesn't work at all. It is working well before the accident. I contact the auto shop directly, and they told me it may be from the different pressure of the 4 tiers and suggested I test all pressure. after I have done all they required. It is still not working. After I sent my car to them twice, they finally found, the sensor of the right front tire is broken which caused the malfunction of the tire system. Sonnet does not approve this repair of the sensor after their appraiser reviewed it, they deemed it non-related as it’s on the other side of the vehicle which was not crashed. While I think when the rear back tire was crashed, the diagonal tire will receive the most impact. The diagonal tire is just the tire where the sensor failed to work. I THINK Assured Auto should be responsible for this tire issue as I never had this issue before the accident, it is either directly caused by the accident or by the repair since the tire pressure sensor was one of the items they replaced (even though the problem is on the other tire, the replacing of one sensor could have disrupted the tire pressure system as a whole). Update: I sent a follow-up email on Jan 20, 2023 as instructed by Sonnet, However, there is not any response during the past 13 days. It has been more than 8 months since the accident happened, and my issue has not been solved. Sonnet is my first auto insurance for my first car, and I chose Sonnet because it is totally online. Right now, I am really really disappointed with this company. I really do not understand why they treat customers like this. I want to spread what I experienced to everyone who is looking for auto insurance. Next step, I will call the Law Society Referral Service and get a lawyer for help if there is no response next week. They really should treat customers well not cheat well.

Incredibly fast and easy to submit claim

Lemonade has always been great with my home insurance, and so when I recently switched to pet insurance, it’s not surprise how efficient and easy they make everything! I answered a few automated questions (and could easily chat with a rep if need be) and submitted a PDF of my vet receipt. Literally 30 seconds later, the money arrived in my bank for reimbursement! I do wish they had slightly more coverage (out of a $260 standard vet visit, I got $160 reimbursed), but for how quickly they process everything, it’s totally worth it!!!
