Best Insurance experience Ever
We have always received great service and quick claims settlement from PetsPlusUS . Recently our Newf Oscar ruptured a cruciate ligament and after various tests it was decided that TPLO surgery was required for his left hind leg. Throughout this whole process we have been supported by PetsPlusUs from the original X rays, purchase of a Help Em Up harness to the actual TPLO surgery. It is a pleasure to deal with such an excellent insurance provider and also a rare thing in these times to have a company live up to their commitments. Bravo PetsPlusUs. You are a great partner in the life of my beloved Oscar.
532% Increase in Premiums
My premium went from $29.05/month to $183.45/month with Healthy Paws. That is a 532% increase. When I enrolled I was told that I would see a 0-15% increase in premiums from year to year, but that was a lie. The upcoming increase is a FIFTY PERCENT INCREASE. And my pet has a preexisting condition, so I have no ability to change and receive the same coverage.

Better communication needed
My dog passed away December 14th. There seems to be a lack of communication within the company. It repeatedly said they needed more information despite vet sending records 4 times. Different email addresses were given for where to send records, and they had given my local vet the claim number for the emergency vet out of town, which was a separate claim. After entering the invoice amount of over $1,000. It was changed to $0.00. I had to make 8 phone calls on separate occasions and spoke with a different person each time. Eventually they did reimburse me, but the process should have been so much smoother than it was. Especially when someone is grieving the loss of their loved one.

IMHA Survivor
Our dog was recently diagnosed with IMHA. We had no idea what IMHA was (we do now), but our girl was in vet hospitals for a rough 7 days and significant vet bills. I was very pleased with the way Embrace handled all of our claims. They were all processed in a timely manner. There was one claim that needed further clarification, which was resolved with one phone call to Embrace. The claim submission process is very easy to work with too. I would definitely recommend Embrace for pet insurance.

I have been with Embrace for 5 years
I have been with Embrace for 5 years, it's been great until this year. I'm having trouble getting refunded for my pets wellness. I'm being told that embrace has no medical record after all these years of being with them and I need to get pets medical records sent to them to get refunded. That's been a week ago and they said it would take 2 business days. If it takes any longer to get my refund, I'll be canceling my account.
