Reaffirmed Trupanion Had Best Product
After the death of our beloved Murphy about a year ago, we adopted a sweet boy this month. While Murphy was fully covered by Trupanion during his cancer diagnosis, treatment and remission allowing him to live an astounding additional 6 years, we knew we made the right decision to get insurance on day one. Horrible behavior therapy coverage, beware.
So it's easy to sign up for, but when I went to try to get my dog behavior therapy, I noticed that the therapy has to be performed by a VETERINARIAN. I understand that I was supposed to read the policy, but I didn't realize only one veterinarian per state usually does that. Embrace would not approve a behavior therapist with a DOCTORATE that my VET referred me to. It's basically impossible to use the coverage I paid for. I wish they have a list of approved behavior therapists.
