I’m so thankful I took out this insurance on my dog when he was a puppy. I was hesitant that they’d really cover expenses if ever needed, but I see I was wrong to worry about that. Trupanion was so easy to work with and their customer service is great.

Wonderful Company & Customer Service So Far!
I very sadly lost one of my cats to FIP the day I purchased the insurance. Andrianna was very sympathetic and attentive while I was a mess on the phone, and she processed the cancellation and refund immediately. I’m excited to continue to use y’all’s insurance on my fur babies, and recommend y’all to my friends with pets.

They have been there for my pet and I over the past 6 years with all of his claims (including his unfortunate Cancer diagnosis and treatment). They truly are as advertised and then some! Claim response time
Response to Customer service inquiries is wonderful. My biggest complaint is how long it takes for a claim 40-52 days, then once the claim is decided it takes another 5-7 days to get paid. You are looking at 2 months before reimbursement. Not a deal breaker if your claim is a few hundred. My claim total for my dogs last illness was close to $10,000. I used a credit card, 60 days for reimbursement is going to cost me close to $500 in interest. Pets best advertises that most claims take 7 days…..not true
