Overall Great, but not happy about one thing
"Overall we were very happy with our experience with PetsBest. The website was easy to use, it was easy to make claims, customer service was helpful, and we received our reimbursements in a timely manner. However, we were very unhappy when a critical prescribed medication(herb) was not covered. Our dog was having SEVERE, possibly life threatening nose bleeds because of his cancer. The medication prescribed was Yunnan Baiyo. I understand that that medication is an herb, and technically 'herbs and supplements' are not covered under our policy. We were denied several times for that medication. I twice appealed that decision, with no success. I feel that consideration should have been given to the fact that this medication was not being prescribed as a supplement or as a holistic herb. It was a CRITICAL medication given to PREVENT and STOP our dog's heavy and excessive bleeding from his nose. Our vet told us that had he not had this medication he could have lost so much blood that it would have been life threatening. I hope that in the future you can take into account the cause and critical use for certain 'herbs', such as Yunnan Baiyo. Please add Yunnan Baiyo to your list of covered medications, or herbs. "

Deny Claims Left amd Right
My dog had a Cruciate Ligament issue. They said the insurance wouldn't cover it because it happened within the first 6 months of the policy. Fine, I understand. HOWEVER... she has not had the Cruciate Ligament issue for more than a year. They keep denying claims because they are trying to tie it back to the Cruciate Ligament issue. 2 Doctors signed a letter that said she NO LONGER has the Cruciate Ligament issue. What she has now is something entirely different! They keep denying the claims. As well, if you do Platelet Rich Plasma injections, they consider those Holistic medicine. I called them before I did the injections and the guy I spoke to said they were covered. They are not! You have to read the fine print with these people.

PetsBest IS the BEST
We could not imagine having our two cats without Pets Best insurance. It’s so easy to file a claim, the options for premiums are fantastic, and we get payment from them so quickly, usually within a couple days!!
Eternally Grateful
I wrote this after my best friend, opie, died, to the insurance agency and thought i'd share here "Hi there - I've been meaning to connect with you and just share my experience and appreciation with you. I've been with Pets best for 5 years, and the care we received it truly remarkable. I'm used to always fighting with insurance companies about the fine print but everything was beyond seamless with you. Most importantly, and recently, our 5 year old dog, Opie, got acute lukemia and within a week, passed away. It was sudden, and excruciatingly heartbreaking. I was worried that you wouldn't cover is endless hospital visits that week, or the possible chemo care but I just got "yes, we'll take care of it" responses for you. I never had to choose between care for opie and finances. What a blessing. And in this world, what a rarity. Thank you from the bottom of our families hearts for your compassion, and overall generosity while making our lives easier in the worst times of our lives. Thats it. x"

Finding Comfort in a Stressful Situation
At a recent wellness exam, we discovered our Boxer Rudy had a torn ACL. Surgery was scheduled for the following week. The day after surgery, I submitted the invoice via Pets Best app. Rudy's claim was processed in a matter of days, without any delays, and I received my reimbursement quickly. I'm beyond impressed with the ease of claim submission and processing. No one needs added stress when caring for an injured family fur member needing surgery. Thank you to Pets Best and those employees that handled Rudy's claim!
Extremely efficient
I took Brooklyn to the Vet on Saturday. I submitted my claim with Pets Best Saturday afternoon. My claim was processed and reimbursement was deposited in my bank on Wednesday. Absolutely amazing. Exceptional customer service. Thank you.

"I have recommended Pets Best to several of my friends. This is the first time I have had insurance for any of my pets and over the years I have been with Pets Best, I have always thought it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. It turned out my little pup ended up getting cancer then after the cancer she ended up with a chronic illness. I would never have been able to afford all the medical for my pet without Pets Best!"

"My fur baby has been insured with pets best since he was 6 weeks old, all claims has been processed and paid without any problems, I'm so glad to be a very pleased customer of petsbest they are dependable and trustworthy. Not so happy about the premium. Premium doubles each renewal cycle. May have to drop the insurance next renewal. "
