Trupanion is excellent pet insurance
Trupanion is excellent pet insurance. Staff are always professional and helpful. They answer all my questions as needed. They are the only insurance I know that are connected to vets so when my dog receives services my vet submits the invoice to trupanion and they almost immediately authorize payment so I only need to pay and co-pay or deductible. I do not need to submit paperwork to get reimbursed!!

Horrible Customer Service with a high price tag
I have had paid for Embrace Pet Insurance for my dog for years. I have never once filed a claim but the premiums sky rocket every year he gets older once he hit a certain age. I’m talking $70 to $90 per year. I need to talk to them and have been on hold for 25 minutes waiting for someone to answer! On top of that there isn’t even a message saying where you are in the queue so it’s just frustration and anxiety having no idea how much longer you have to wait. Still on hold now. The only chat help is from a ridiculous bot. Horrible customer service with a high price tag. Pathetic

The wait time for rebursment
The wait time for rebursment, Complications sending bill ,they want to see itemized items. Really don't get back what you put into the service. Will probably find a better Plan for my babies

Very slow pay if ever
Very slow pay. Kept saying they didn’t have paperwork that I had already sent them, sometimes more than once. Rejected clearly legitimate claims. After a year some claims still not resolved. Zero feedback from them. After I filed a claim, my premium nearly doubled for my two dachshunds.
