Good experience
Amanda was very personable and very thorough with explaining all of the details of the policy. We're new to Fetch and haven't really used the policy yet but we had a good experience getting all our questions answered while setting up the policy. At the time of purchase it was the best price we found in comparison to several other pet insurance companies we reviewed.

Worth the money
I have a cat and dog, both fully covered. Recently I took in a stray cat. After taking her immediately to my vet for a check up and vaccinations, it was determined that she is approximately 7 years old and had several broken and abcessed teeth and would need periodontal surgery. I submitted the claim and within 10 days received the 90% reimbursement. I am so appreciative for the insurance because it allows me to be sure my pets can be treated when needed. My dog who was a rescue has had several medical problems and I have had the same great service for her.
Examination Charges are NOT covered.
I purchased a policy for my pet for Illness and accident over the phone. I was not informed or disclosed any kind of exclusions during my purchases. When my pet got sick after 3 months with an upper respiratory infection I took my pet to a Vet who examined him and prescribed him antibiotics. The same day I submitted a claim and I was informed that the examination by the Vet would not be covered which was $97. due to an exclusions. The only thing they covered was $22 medications for my pet. I think they should have disclosed the exclusions during my purchases of the policy that examination charges are not covered if your dog is taken to a Vet for illness. Now I have canceled my coverage with Healthy Paws and got similar coverage for half the price that covers the examination charges and prescription for illness visits.

The performance of the insurance is 100% exactly as I expected and have had it for 12 years for multiple animals. However, their reward program. It's not useful I have referred three dogs and have never been given credir, that they promised twenty five dollars, so it's really kind of a sham.. One friend actually contacted them twice to let them know when they still didn't forward anything, okay

I bought two policies for two dogs a day apart. Price is about a dollar difference. No one can tell me why the algorithm did this. The coverage is substantially different. I’ve gotten no where with customer service. Reached out to ceo. No response. So far, a horrible experience.

Terrible claims department…
Embrace Pet Insurance tells customers that the turn-around time for processing a claim is 10-15 working days (No weekends or holidays). They say you can submit the claims via email, "snail mail", or portal. If you choose NOT to use the portal, the delay in reviewing claims is excessively long. For example, I emailed all my documentation on 6/20/2024 and their claims department did not even open the email for 8 days. Then you add the so-called 10-15 days for processing. I have contacted their VP's office and they give stupid reasons why they cannot process emails directly/immediately. Basically, the portal method is not as easy as sending it directly via email. So... if you choose not to use the portal (not easy for people who are not computer savvy), your claims are DELAYED and you are being penalized. It means a lot to get reimbursement when your veterinarian bill is in thousands of dollars. I will be getting a second dog this month and I have already found another pet insurance company that advertises quick returns on claims. Embrace needs to realize that there are many new pet insurance companies available, and they will lose customers if they continue to be complacent. If my present dog did not have a pre-existing problem, I would drop that lousy insurance in a New York second.

Delivered as promised
This plan worked exactly as advertised when my pup got very sick two weeks ago and we pole vaulted over our deductible. Spot paid exactly according to my plan. The app and forms were clear and navigable and the direct deposit was quick. I didn’t want to ever have to use the insurance but since the need did arise, I’m glad it was not hard. I feel like I chose well. And my baby dog is much better! All good!
