Response Time and Coverage
The time and coverage. My wife and I are on multiple social media sites, Facebook, Instagram, local town and many dog friendly websites that we are members of where we have written about our experience and how happy we are with Spot Pet Insurance. Horrible customer service experiences
Today was a good day with Akeile. But normally that's not the case. All communication and customer satisfaction was terrible in the past. Honesty, is the best policy!! Akeile was a 5, but my past experiences has been highly unsatisfied. Poor customer service experiences. No empathy, or problem solving skills and no knowledge of my pet insurance policy.

SPOT to the rescue 1,200 miles from home!
I am so grateful for SPOT insurance and their support people. My dog and I are 1,200 miles away from home helping to care for my terminally ill sister. “Q” had a bout of bad diarrhea within a few weeks of being here needing some tests and a month later had a corneal ulcer that needed a surgery procedure. When I submitted the paperwork for his eye I remembered the visit for his poop problem and submitted that a day or so later. I had planned to call SPOT to give them further information as I didn’t have “Q’s” records with me. He saw a local Vet and then a specialist for his eye. I felt this may need some explanation as we were so far from home and using 2 new Veterinary practices here. With everything going on and trying to be with my sister and family I hadn’t called yet. Then I received 2 emails advising my claims had been paid! That, in itself, was a major relief. With trying to be present for my sister and family and caring for “Q”, this was a load off my mind! I’m retired with a fixed income and being able to pay back my credit card immediately for these expenses is a huge relief. Thank you to SPOT and their team for a quick response and much needed relief!

The claims process is easy
The claims process is easy, efficient and fast. My major complaint is not being able to appeal a premium increase to a manager. I moved from one zip code to another but stayed in the same geographical area and continued using the same Veterinary practice but the new zip code change caused my premium to increase by $18/ month.
