I just wanted to take a moment and share my incredible 9 year journey with Healthy Paws Pet Insurance, which has proven to be an absolute game-changer for my dynamic duo, Francis and Ozzy. The impact Healthy Paws has had on our furry family life is nothing short of exceptional. In the maze of pet insurance options available, it's only during moments of great need that you truly know if you've made a good choice. Throughout the years, Healthy Paws has consistently proven to be the best gift I could've given to my beloved cats. When Francis faced a life-threatening emergency requiring surgery, I didn’t hesitate to authorize the procedure because I was confident that Healthy Paws had my back on the financial front. Beyond covering the bills, their personal outreach to check on Francis post-surgery showcased a level of care that goes beyond mere insurance. Even now, as Francis undergoes cancer treatment, Healthy Paws continues to stand by us, providing invaluable support. As if having one "problem" child in the family wasn't challenging enough, our other sweet kitty, Ozzy, is currently navigating a health rollercoaster, and once again, Healthy Paws has proven to be our steadfast ally. Their consistent support and genuine concern make me feel like they are as dedicated to Ozzy's well-being as we are. Without the financial support from their pet insurance, providing the necessary care for my fur-babies would be an overwhelming challenge. But having Heathy Paws on our side, it's like having a financial fairy godparent who appears precisely when you need it the most, offering a profound sense of relief.

Nationwide has helped me take good care of my kitty 8 years and counting.
Simply put I am very satisfied with Nationwide as our insurance provider. My boy is 8 years old and I've been with Nationwide since he was about a year old. We have the Whole pet with wellness plan and the $250 deductible is reasonable and rates are too. Recently checked an alternative, highly touted company out of due diligence and they wanted twice the amount for monthly premiums. Probably pays to stick with one company in the long run in most cases versus hopping around chasing the best rate since they likely don't take into account your history and only see potential future claims with no allowance for the years of premiums you've already paid. The older your pet, the more startling this loyalty discount truly becomes. Starting a policy when your furry friend is young is also strongly recommended. In any case, a few things I've learned over the years and somethings to consider when selecting which insurance and when. I have had a few major claims and dental cleanings plus wellness through the years and they promptly reimburse you electronically directly to your bank account if you set up your account this way. Claims can be uploaded online or your vet can submit with clinical notes. They have an app to but haven't tried it yet. Small multi-pet discounts and option to pay monthly premiums or the whole year upfront. Most importantly it helps keep your furbaby up to date on vaccines and preventative care plus the unforeseen. I'll be continuing with Nationwide and taking advantage of the multi-pet discount very soon! :)

They don't detail information. My car got Stolen while under finance and they're trying to stiff me with the bill saying I didn't opt for the right coverage:S how is theft not under basic insurance for a financed vehicle? Never heard of such a thing. All they want is your money-- they're trying to tell me basic cover is only for my health/safety when i have OHIP and really don't need that

Excellent Pet Insurance Company
I'm so grateful that I found Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for my cat, my senior cat had to stay in urgent care for a few days and then had the surgery to treat her thyroid problem. Healthy paws pet insurance is so friendly and efficient to work with, they have an excellent customer service team who truly takes care of their customers, their claim process is so simple and they really work fast to get the reimbursement to customers.
