If you call and try to buy insurance…

If you call and try to buy insurance they pick up super fast. If you have an issue or try to cancel good luck you be waiting for almost 40 min and you’re lucky if they pick up the call at the end your call gets desconnected. Worse businesses ever.

They don’t care

Long post but, please read for the sake of your babies. I had my two dogs previously under a different insurance company but switched after seeing seeing ads and speaking with a customer service representative. I was told about the 15 day waiting period and the 6 month period for knees and hips. I was also told the 6 month waiting period (for both) would be waived with a vet visit at the start of our policy, which we did. I felt confident in the switch because of the coverage and lower prices. Our younger dog started limping after a day at the park, we thought she had cut her paw or hurt it. It turned out to be her hips and it was hip dysplasia. When turning in the claims they originally were sent back multiple times for “missing documents.” We had forwarded her whole file! They then denied the claim because it was within the 6 month period for hips. I tried explaining that I was told by the representative specifically when joining that they were covered. They said only the knees were. I asked them to please go back and listen to the recording and of course they called back and said it never happened. I was gaslit and let down by this company. Don’t waste your time and money on a company that couldn’t care less about their ill-trained employees lying to get business and not caring about your babies. Put the money you’d spend here into savings and apply for care credit.

Embrace has really saved my dog.

While I did have to jump through a lot of hoops to get my dogs condition covered, it was ultimately covered and things have been great since.

Just horrible Insurance company

Just horrible Insurance company - Paid $160.00 a month for just aggravation when it came to filing a claim - I recently filed a claim for a growth that appeared on my dogs neck. The vet emailed Embrace the required info - they then asked again, even though it was sent to them. The final straw was when they required info from a vet I had not seen in three years asking for health history. Seriously? For a $350.00 vet bill? Will continue to use Spot insurance - they require very little info and process the claims quickly.
