Don't bother with this company.
Issues setting up the account. Issues with them charging my credit card. It's always somebody elses fault too. That's what I was told with both - It's not our system! it's your email...It's your bank! Call them to fix our problem. You can't even do self-service on the website since it doesn't seem to update your information in real-time. and now I'm going to be charged a late fee, and didn't even get a email that there was "a issue" Customer service does nothing. Can't imagine what a hassle it would be to make a claim. Going to look for a new company the second my policy is nearing its end. I notice the responses always say call customer service but they do nothing. I told them their company needed to get their s**t together. I was told that's abusive language and was hung up on. As I said - Don't bother with this company.

Positive results…
I didn't feel like the pet insurance I had was doing a good job so I started looking. I found Pumpkin insurance on line and checked it out and was very impressed with the person I spoke with. She was understanding with my loss of a beloved pet and was sympathetic to my feelings. I signed up that day for Cassie our cat and KiKi our foster to adopt dog.

Leaving Healthy Paws after 20 years, going to ASPCA
Our former pet insurance company (been with them over 20 years with other pets) tripled our Bunny Dog's rate to $500.00 monthly. I was shocked and asked why. After several communications I was left not knowing why this happened. I ask, who can afford that for one animal? I researched pet insurance companies for weeks and each time I did a comparison for the needs of our little Bunny, ASPCA came out on top. Very easy to sign up, acceptable waiting periods, I understand about pre-existing conditions, their reputation is solid, believe in their philosophy about animals. Overall a good experience.

I compared at least 5 different pet insurance companies, ASPCA seemed to fit our needs the best. Fortunately I haven’t had to use it yet, but it gives me a sense of relief knowing that if my fur baby gets sick or injured he’s covered.
