Never use Sonnet Insurance as your auto…

Never use Sonnet Insurance as your auto insurance provider per my experience. Their system makes change to your account without your consent (it is illegal). Their system automatically increase your premium amount without any notifications until you receive an email noting "the change has been made" or you log into your account. Their system removes your name from the policy without notifying you which means you won't have coverage in case of car accident due to their systems issues. If you want to cancel the policy immediately because of the mess, their agents will tell you they would use the incorrect high premium amount for calculating the cancellation fee even though they admitted it's their fault. Also, they will charge you 2 months payment in advance which is unusual with other insurance companies. I had such a BAD experience with this company. My advice is DON'T TRY.....

got nothing for all I paid

After paying my $50.00 premium for months I took my dog into vet. She was treated and the bill was $632.55. I had a $500 deductible and 80% return. I was expecting the $500 would come off leaving me 80% of $132.55. They took the 20% leaving $506.51 Then they took the $500 so they now owe me $6.04. Less than 1%. If they were honest they would have taken the $500 from the bill and the 20% from the remaining 132.00

Very Confusing Coverage

Very confusing coverage. Had Complete coverage and Preventive Care Basics for two cats. Took both to vet for annual wellness visit, which is reimbursed under the Preventive Care Basics plan. One cat had a tender knee when vet touched him, asked us if he had been acting differently. Nothing outstanding but we had noticed he walked down stairs and played differently as if protecting his left back leg. As a result of that visit, we were denied reimbursement because the Vet found an issue during his annual preventative visit. ASPCA or underwriter stated because the vet found an issue the appointment changed from annual visit to Complete coverage and deductible applies, regardless of the fact the receipt proves his appointment was an annual wellness visit. There are too many pet insurance companies to fight about claims with one. I pay around $80.00 a month for both cats. The office visit was $70.00. We should have been reimbursed $50.00 for office visit but was denied.

Satisfied overall, some improvement opportunities

Overall we have been very happy with pets best and our insurance policy. The website is easy to use and claims are easy to submit. Anytime I have had to call the support has been friendly and helpful. The areas for improvement are the claim processing time. It almost always takes longer than the initial quote, even when they have everything from the vet. We did have to do a little back and forth on one recent claim due to them not reaching out to our vet for the records they needed and not communicating with us about issues. Eventually it got fixed and the person on the phone was helpful in figuring out all out.

Thank goodness I have Healthy Paws

Thank goodness I have Healthy Paws! I have a senior lab (now) and he's dealing with arthritis. Healthy Paws enables me to do everything I can for him, which if I didn't have pet insurance, I would never be able to afford.
