Policy holder since 2020

My boy Parker has been insured with ‘Fetch’ formally Petplan etc… Although, there have been many changes with names and application features. Lucky to say that ‘customer service’ has not changed. Next month will be Parker’s fourth policy renewal. Hopefully this continues into his senior years. 😛 Speaking to Brianna and Kelsey today was stress free. Both young ladies were professional, knowledgeable, and an employee every company hopes to have representing them. Happy ‘Human Dad! to Parker (Boston Terrier). Covered our beloved pet's cancer treatment

We were referred to Embrace through our existing insurance provider USAA. We didn't use it for several years but kept it current as a precaution. Unfortunately, our dog was diagnosed with cancer that required surgery and chemo treatment. We would have proceeded without reimbursement from Embrace but having the coverage made it an even easier decision to treat our dog and give her extra time with us. Reviews and reimbursements have been very fast (within 10 days of submitting). Very happy to have this service and appreciate their quick responses during this difficult time.

Denials that go against their policy

In November of last year we decided to get pet insurance for our dog. Soon after, she was playing in the snow and tore her ACL which was listed as covered under her policy. We took her to the vet and they recommended surgery but we decided to hold off and hoped it would heal on its own. Unfortunately, it didn't and five months later she had surgery. All of her claims were denied due to her ACL tear being labeled as an "illness". The vet wrote a letter confirming the date of injury, type of injury and clarifying that it couldn't be an illness as it was related to an injury. I have called countless times, written countless emails, and now am consulting with an attorney. If the policy specifically claims ACL injuries are covered, they should be covered. She had absolutely zero prior issues with her ACL, never limped or showed any signs of problems prior.
