Terrible company that will not answer emails and looks for a way not to pay out a claim
Terrible company. Stay far away. I tried to confirm that I had all the paperwork needed in case my kitten ever needed insurance by sending many emails to all the different company-stated contact addresses. Initially I got a vague email stating that they received my info, but asking if they needed anything else, Embrace would not respond (confirm) that all is good. When I joined Embrace, I immediately sent them information from physicals that stated my kitten had a clean bill of health from both the breeder's vet and my vet. In subsequent emails, I asked them many times to confirm that this is all that they needed in case something happened. They initially responded in an email that implied they received all of the documents, but still would not confirm that they have the necessary information. I tried sending more emails asking what I needed to do to get this confirmed and got nothing but crickets. A month and a half later of me sending emails, I send one stating that I wanted to cancel my insurance bc if they cannot answer these simply inquiries, I cannot trust them with my kitten's health. This made them respond (a month and a half later) which they said my info was not enough and needed more (which they never would define), and that coverage could be dependant on what the vets reported. I had enough, no more chances. They wanted to have an out to deny service in the future even though I had proof that he is healthy by two vets. I asked my vet if they have any other way to report clean bill's of health and they said this what they do for all insurances. I can only imagine how they will treat a customer if they actually have a claim bc of this "technique" to not confirm in writing. Stay far away from this company. If they will not answer (and flat out ignore) these questions, they are trying to find a way out of paying in the future. They do not respond to letters at all, but will happily take your money. I suspect the positive emails could be company based. You will be sorry, if your pet ever needs insurace with Embrace.

Sadly our kat got sick and had to get put to sleep we lost a dear family member but through all of this spot was quick to send there condolences and to reimburse our finances you will be missed baby girl 😺

A pet insurance skeptic becomes a believer!
I have always been a bit of a skeptic when it comes to buying pet insurance, particularly this year because increased consumer costs were straining my budget. However, I wanted my beloved pet to be protected so I researched pet insurance, ultimately deciding on SPOT for its clearly written policy language and flexible coverage options. When the unexpected happened and my sweet pet was rushed to an emergency vet hospital, the ER vet bills were substantial. SPOT made the claim filing process so easy through the use of a very user-friendly app. In addition, they paid the 2 claims I filed very quickly. I highly recommend SPOT for their policy coverage, user-friendly app, customer service and expedited claim service.
