🚩 There is a reason why claims are fast and easy... SUBMITTING CLAIMS could cost you thousands down the road
🚩 They make claims fast and easy for a reason... they'll reduce your coverage at renewal and penalize you for claims (something that some other companies do not do). Claims are fast (if approved) with a HUGE WARNING 🚩 I've been with Fetch loyally for over 5 years and have sent multiple friends/family to them (despite not having any referral benefits), which is something I now deeply regret. I spent my first fews years with Fetch WITHOUT submitting a claim for two pets. Then, once I finally needed to submit a claim after a few years with them (a simple dental cleaning), they adjusted my policy renewal to the LOWEST it is allowed to go in my state. While claims (if approved) are moderately fast, AT RENEWAL THEY CAN AND WILL LOWER YOUR COVERAGE ELIGIBILITY BASED ON PREVIOUS CLAIMS TO THE LOWEST THEY'RE ALLOWED TO GO. Years ago, I wish I had understood this and gone with PetsBest (UNLIMITED plan and they NEVER penalize you or adjust coverage based on claims). I'm now stuck with Fetch until the end with my pet, because she has what any other insurance co would consider pre-existing conditions so it's too late to switch for us. That said, I hope that others find this and it helps other pet parents make a more educated decision with their pet insurance provider. As a loyal customer, I feel frustrated and that I didn't know this going in when I first started with Fetch. Of course, everyone will tell you it's our responsibility to inform ourselves of the fine lines when comes to insurance decisions — I should have understood the terms, yes, but that does not reduce the predatory "ick" Fetch has made me feel. They hope you will not read or understand the terms for a reason, and make submitting claims this easy for the same reason. TLDR Cons Summary: 1️⃣ No UNLIMITED plans — other providers like PetsBest offer Unlimited plans (no cap to reimbursement) WITHOUT penalizing you for claims 2️⃣ They can AND WILL LOWER your policy coverage at renewal based on claims, you are penalized for claims and reimbursements over $200. In my case, because of a payout after years of zero claims they threw me into the lowest policy they can possibly give me in my state.

Worth every penny
We appreciate Healthy Paws for helping us keep our furry family members feeling their best! When we bring a new fur baby into the family, we sign them up for Healthy Paws immediately. In the case of our one-year-old cat, it proved to be lifesaving. She developed gingivostomatitis and required a full-mouth extraction. Thanks to our plan with Healthy Paws, 90% of that surgical procedure was covered, and our girl is feeling better and is now back to her playful, naughty self!
