Can't set your referral after sign up, must do during
Only wish they let me place my friends email on the referral after the initial sign up. I had signed up at their home after the party and forgot to get her email. I figured I'd set it later. Nope. Not able to do it after. Not a major deal but still a little bit of customer service improvements especially on new accounts within 24-48 hours of creation. Thanks for the service, everything else is fabulous to this point 👏

The most expensive watchband, EVER
Our little dog, who we lovingly call a “goat” decided to eat the leather band on my iWatch. Not only did she have a belly full of leather, she also swallowed some metal connecting pieces. The entire Staff at our wonderful veterinarian office - Creature Comforts Animal Hospital- with special thanks to Veterinarian Dr. Espinosa, and Patient Coordinator Denise- who all went above and beyond ensuring our baby girl had the best care possible, and thank you to Trupanion Pet Insurance for allowing us to care for her needs without financial worry.
Fraudulent insurance company!
Fraudulent insurance company!! They refuse to pay any claims. Customer service is worthless. Don't believe the positive reviews, as they are not real reviews. Even when I said I wanted to cancel, they actually refused to cancel my policy because of pending claims that they would not process. Absolute joke. I had to call back and speak to a supervisor, as the other agent also refused to transfer me. Avoid at all costs!!

Overall frustrating experience...
Filed a claim based on an estimate from my vet. Got an invoice later that day but found that I could not add docs to the claim. About a week later my account showed the claim completed and reimbursement sent via direct deposit to my bank account. I assumed that ASPCA had contacted vet and verified the actual bill. 5 business days go by nothing in my bank. Call up customer service and rep tells me they do not pay on estimates ..I have to file another claim with the actual invoice. I say " but the computer says the original claim has already been paid.." Maddening!! I have filed another claim ...now I expect to hear that their records show they have already paid that claim.. Even more maddening!! Pet insurance is just not worth it..I have paid way, way, way more in premiums than If i had just paid cash out of pocket to the vet and on top of this is all this opaque bureaucratic nonsense designed to make it difficult to get a legit claim paid. Don't get me started on the customer service wait times!!

Customer service is off on the wrong "paw". I tried to create an account and was advised my e-mail was not associated with a Spot account.
