They can't get their technology to work

For many months their website has not worked, nor has their app. I don't understand how the company cannot fix this. I had to email the claim. I didn't receive any receipt notification. They did pay efficiently on the day I was about to call to check.

We have been with Fetch for 3 years

We have been with Fetch for 3 years. Our premium has increased over 100% in this time frame. They said it’s because my dog is getting older. Wow, he is 5. I don’t even want to know how much this will cost by the time he actually is considered older. Complete joke. Stay away from fetch unless you like being ripped off

Pros and cons

1. The insurance covers a good amount 2. Contacting customer service is a handful it’s hard to get into contact with someone but once you do they do solve your problems. 3. I have conflicting opinions on how long it takes to get claims back some have taken a few days where I’ve had others go on for 3 weeks and have called with no update on them. 4. I would much rather dentals be covered by illness and injury rather than wellness. Dentals are very pricy and normally if you are giving dental chews and things like that it is preventative however if it’s not enough a dental is needed and it’s not covered under the injury or illness like I had thought. It deceived me a little cause I saw dental in my agreement but only for broken teeth which was not pointed out to me. So I will have to pay for the procedure all out of my pocket.

Overall good experience

I've had a good experience with Spot Pet Insurance overall. The enrollment process was simple, and it's reassuring to know I have coverage for unexpected vet expenses. The claims process is straightforward, and I appreciate being able to manage everything online. The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that reimbursements can take a little time depending on the claim, and understanding exactly what's covered requires reading the policy carefully. That said, the peace of mind and financial protection have made it worthwhile. I'd recommend Spot to other pet owners looking for reliable pet insurance.

They were fine for the first year

They were fine for the first year. After a year and reaching my deductible they raised my premiums from $35 a to $205 a month. I see reviews saying they process claims quickly. Yes they deny claims very quickly.

I honestly don’t get the positive reviews

I honestly don’t get the positive reviews when Fetch is one of the most greedy pet insurance companies in the market presently. Upping annual premiums by 100%-300% is what grifters do, not companies that genuinely want to help pets. They always have an excuse to not reimburse expenses. Ultimately we ended up canceling insurance for our senior pup - it makes no sense to pay $7k+ premium, plus deductible/copay for max $15k payout. My younger one has Healthy Paws; the difference between the two insurance companies is night and day.
