Very easy company to deal with premiums are a little high. And I've only filed 2 claims in 5 years. But all in all, it was a good experience.

Lemonade pet insurance was truly terrible to work with. I insured three pets with them, and they paid only one of the five claims I submitted. I was left with over $2,000 in unpaid claims, on top of everything I paid in premiums that year. They denied Snoopy’s claim because it was submitted more than 180 days after treatment. I asked for a one-time exception, and they refused. I have pets insured with Embrace, which gives me the policy term plus 60 days to file. Lemonade’s deadline was an expensive lesson to learn. What happened with Linus was worse. At an earlier visit, the veterinarian thought she might have seen a soft tissue injury and decided to wait and see. Linus never had an injury. Later, he needed his dewclaw removed because of an ingrown claw. Lemonade called it a pre-existing condition and denied the claim. I appealed and provided a letter directly from the veterinarian, but they denied it again. Having to fight this hard over my pets’ care, only to be denied again, was exhausting and infuriating. I canceled all three policies. Based on my experience, I would not trust Lemonade to be there when a pet actually needs care.

Don't trust what they tell you over the phone. Worst insurance provider
Don't waste any time or money with Phi Direct. They will tell you over the phone "oh yes - we cover allergies because you've had this insurance since your dog was a baby" and then turn around and decline your coverage.

Pets Best to the Rescue...AGAIN!!!
This has been a rough year with my fur children, and we have unfortunately had to make more vet visits than hoped for. If it wasn't for having Pets Best pet insurance, I would be completely stressed out, and my babies probably would not be receiving the veterinary care that they need. Knowing I have pet insurance and knowing how amazing Pets Best has been to work with so far, I have ease of mind in knowing I can get my babies the care they need! I will never be able to go without pet insurance after this year!

Pleasantly surprised
I initially submitted my proof of payment, but was asked to submit an itemized receipt . Once I submitted the itemized receipt my claim was quickly approved. The payment showed up in my account in just a few days. Overall the process was easy and I was pleasantly surprised.
