Pretty good experience. I purchased insurance for illness due to her age. I may upgrade to include well visits.
Beware of Pets Best
Pets Best is an enraging pet insurance company and not worth your money. They deny all claims, even for medical procedures for diseases that arose after getting insurance (aka that aren't pre-existing conditions). For example, we recently had a $1k teeth cleaning/tooth removal procedure for our cat due to dental disease. This claim was denied. What is the point of having pet insurance if the insurance continually fails to insure any part of our pet's medical expenses?

Sully feeling better!
Our 11 year old dachshund had a large lipoma under a muscle that was beginning to impede his mobility and impact his quality of life. We elected to have it removed and the surgery was completely successful! Pets Best claims process was easy and efficient. Less than 3 weeks from submission to $$$ in my account!

Having Pets Best insurance has been a game changer. It has saved my dogs life and my own financial security twice now. The coverage is very clear and comprehensive, and the claims process is so easy to do, fast to process, and deposits into my account within a week of submitting. I feel so relieved to know that I'm covered for almost anything my dog needs. I had what no pet parent wants, a medical emergency for my dog. After days of illness, she ended up needing immediate emergency surgery. Knowing I had insurance, I was able to feel calm and assured that no matter what, I could afford the life saving surgery and recovery for my dog. Easiest Peace of Mind
Nugget was getting beat up by Mother Nature and needed an allergy shot. Popped in my receipt and had a response within 2 days - no payment due back, but chipping away at my deductible just in case. I LOVE the peace of mind this insurance gives me in the event anything unforeseen happens to my lil guy. It's so easy and fast - I recommend to everyone.

I have been a customer for many years and unfortunately, have had several claims for multiple dogs with health issues. The Pets Best process is very easy to file claims and the reimbursements have been fair and very timely. I recommend this pet insurance to many people!
