Submitting the claim was easy

Submitting the claim was easy. I was contacted regularly regarding the status of my claim. The results were easy to understand. Very good experience and I highly recommend this company for pet insurance.

The insurance is incredibly expensive

The insurance is incredibly expensive. Because of this, we only have the emergency coverage. With 2 emergencies lately, there were hefty deductibles on top of monthly fees. Trupanion barely covered half the bill. For 2 dogs it cost $3600 a year. Then there are $250 deductibles for EACH dog. Astronomical.

Quick and easy process, needs more information about requirements up front

the process was simple and quick, but doesn't say up front that there is a higher cost for the 1st month (until you get to the billing page), or discuss the requirement for a recent physical exam (within 6 months). It would be helpful to know these facts initially so that you don't pay for the insurance and then find out you're in for scheduling vet visits for everyone and paying for that out of pocket before the policy can be active! (we take our pets to the vet once yearly, and they are coming up on their next visit, so the hope was the insurance would be in place to cover that wellness visit, but now it has to come out of pocket for the policy to begin)

I called at 5:27pm today to verify from…

I called at 5:27pm today to verify from an e-mail I also received today, (3/18/26 @ 3:35pm) regarding my documentation on my monthly heart medicine claim from Chewy and the additional medicine Dr. Moran added on 2/2/26 invoice for Smokey"s heart condition. (Heart Health Formula by Thorne Vet) I spoke to Donna C. from Tenn. and she was very helpful and was able to see what Fetch actually received yesterday (3/17/26 11:07am) my fax of my documentation. She verified that everything was received and all documentation is there. She told me that all I need to do is wait for all to be processed now... I thanked her very much for verifying all was received and nothing else was needed and I will now wait for processing. Thank you for live agents to verify and confirm about receiving and verifying documentation.

I would NEVER recommend Embrace Pet…

I would NEVER recommend Embrace Pet Insurance. I had a policy and paid premiums for 24 months before submitting my first claim. They waited till first claim to do ANY checks and disclose any “pre-existing” conditions they refuse to cover. How about operating with integrity and doing this right upfront? They will hide behind legal disclaimers saying it was “optional” but who wouldn’t want to know what’s excluded from day 1? NOT after paying 24 months of premiums that they won’t return. Imagine if health or life insurance worked that way??? Pay your premiums and when you get sick we will inform you this was a pre/existing condition with zero coverage…. This is completely shady!

HORRIBLE DO NOT USE LEMONADE PET INSURANCE

Lemonade finds any reason NOT to cover a claim. My dog had ACL surgery on her right leg in August, we then got pet insurance because we didn't want anything like that to happen again. In March she tore her left ACL so now they won't cover it because they consider it a pre existing illness, lol. Thats like telling me becauae you have something wrong with your right arm then your left arm is going to go oyt too. 🤣🤣 What a SCAM!! DO not get pet insurance from them. Save your money.

Healthy Paws is a great insurance…

Healthy Paws is a great insurance program for your pets. I’ve only had good experiences with claims. If you love your pet like I love my Tatiana, then they are in the best of hands with Healthy Paws.
