Overall great experience and company!
I've been with Embrace for a couple years now and I've only had great experiences with them. They really came through when my dog needed an MRI for his back. I also love that they give you a healthy dog credit that goes towards your payments.

They always seem to find a reason to…
They always seem to find a reason to defer or not make payments. Their communication is obtuse. I have made over 10 claims and only 2 have been paid. The only reason my rating is not a 1 star is because I just spoke to a representative who gave me a clear explanation and I'm re-submitting documents. I picked ASPCA because a friend suggested them when we got our dog. My friend has since stopped using ASPCA for the reasons above.

Not worth the cost
I opted for a preventative plus plan to help with the first year expenses of having a puppy including spay. Reimbursement was supposed to be 70% but it was about 20% for spaying. And I use an affordable small town vet whose charges were without the insurance limit. Also, our puppy hurt her paw, cried when she put weight on it. I took her to the vet. The claim was denied due to it being labeled as administration. I plan to cancel the policy now that our pup is a year old. We would have been better off putting $70 in a savings account each month.
