Very Happy Customer!!!
MetLife pet insurance has been outstanding for our furry friends. The coverage is comprehensive while the reimbursement has been fair and equitable. Both the website and the mobile app are easy to use during the submission of claims, and support was extremely courteous and helpful when I have called for help. Resolution of claims typically has taken between two and three weeks which I feel is acceptable. Their explanation of benefits is thorough and easy to read. We have been very satisfied for the two plus years thus far.

Apprehension was eased.
Care and health of my girl is very important to me. With Spot insurance I am more assured that I can afford to keep her that way. I recently had a scare with her health, went to my vet who ran tests and xrays and felt like she should go to a specialist. So I then took her to MedVed, where they did an ultrasound and gave her meds to help her. They worked. The expense was not an extreme concern since I have Spot insurance for her. It covered all that I expected and the whole experience, though caused a lot of anxiety, became a total win for me and my girl!

Quick, easy, and worth it!
The claim process was quick. We did a pre certification for our dogs TPLO surgery due to a torn ACL and that only took a couple days to get a response. The actual claim after the procedure was closer to 10 business days but overall with direct deposit set up it was a very smooth process. You don’t quite realize how important your coverage is until you really need to use it! We have had our dog for close to 11 years and this was the first time in all that time we have filed a claim. So glad we have it!

Filing claims for reimbursement is…
Filing claims for reimbursement is easy. However, getting reimbursed has proved to be difficult. Reps give a canned response and then tell you that you must appeal the claim decision, if you disagree (that can take an additional 30-60 days). What should be applied to your deductible, isn't. I will not be renewing next year when my renewal comes due, I will be looking at better pet insurance options.
