Emergency Spinal Surgery
On New Year's Day, my 2/12 year old chiweenie woke up, unable to use his hind legs. It turned out he herniated a disc and needed emergency spinal surgery. Three days after the surgery I submitted my invoice and within a week, they had reimbursed me at 80%, which allowed me to pay the credit card off immediately and made it so I don't have to cancel my upcoming wedding in order to pay for the surgery. I highly recommend Healthy Paws for anyone looking to insure their pet. Their claims and reimbursement process are seamless, easy, and stress free, which was incredible, considering the stress I was experiencing at home with my recovering dog.

Something wrong with the cart
I clicked on preventative add on for my pet but then once checking out it was auto removed and because of there policies I’d have to cancel (which has been stated is not possible and I’d still have to pay a year policy) or just wait. I had originally chosen this company because it was the only one with preventative add ons for a reasonable price but check out lemonade instead because I could have paid cheaper but was using the pet desk help

I never thought I would use the insurance much. My previous pets have never had emergencies, since I had never had an inside cat, I went ahead and got the insurance. This is the best decision ever. My claims are processed fast and I am kept informed on how the process is going. No regrets!
