Worth every penny
We appreciate Healthy Paws for helping us keep our furry family members feeling their best! When we bring a new fur baby into the family, we sign them up for Healthy Paws immediately. In the case of our one-year-old cat, it proved to be lifesaving. She developed gingivostomatitis and required a full-mouth extraction. Thanks to our plan with Healthy Paws, 90% of that surgical procedure was covered, and our girl is feeling better and is now back to her playful, naughty self!

Great rates
Once you speak with an agent, they are extremely helpful and understanding. I do find their phone tree frustrating, but the rates are fantastic so I’m willing to put up with it. As well, you’re able to buy insurance online even on Sundays through their website. This was fantastic when we bombed down to Lethbridge to buy a used car. We thought we’d have to park the car at a relative’s, but thanks to Sonnet, we were able to drive it home the same day. That impressed me and their rates too. We have now moved both vehicles over and our home insurance too. I would recommend preparing an online quote for home insurance and speaking to a human before you purchase however. Home insurance is more complicated and their basic coverage doesn’t include things like hail which you have to include if you live in hail-prone regions.

So far, so good!
Filing the claim was easy and it was paid quickly and without issue. The insurance so far has been great! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the amount reimbursed is significantly less than what I paid out. It was not a surprise as I knew the amount I would get back before filing. I'm just not 100% satisfied with the amount offered in the wellness program overall.
