Make sure it’s right for you

Our dogs are generally healthy and haven’t had any big issues. However the denial claims have been more frequent than not and they automatically disqualified our golden retriever for anything related to hip dysplasia and denied our rescue mix for a wellness benefit without cause. I have regrets having been with Petsbest from the start. Our GR’s premiums is now 400 a month which is the same as mine! A 100 dollars a month increase from last year. We are likely to now cancel our insurance with Petsbest. I am disappointed that we have to do this.

I’ve had MetLife 2-years now for our French Bulldog. She has more routine vet visits than any other dog we’ve had. I submit claims frequently and I’ve never had one denied (preventative or urgent visits). Our plan with MetLife reimburses at 90%. Reimbursement occasionally takes longer than estimated, but never excessively. Direct deposits to account. I’d say overall I’ve been pleased with my pet insurance.

Exceptional Pet Insurance Experience with MetLife!

MetLife has truly impressed me with their pet insurance services. The entire experience, from signing up to submitting claims, has been remarkably smooth. I found the registration process incredibly easy and user-friendly, which set a positive tone from the start. When it came to submitting claims, I was pleasantly surprised by the efficiency of the system. The turnaround time for processing my claims was exceptional; I received a refund within 24 to 48 hours, if not even quicker. This level of service not only alleviated my concerns about financial burdens related to my pet's health but also reinforced my confidence in choosing MetLife. Overall, I’m giving MetLife an outstanding rating for their pet insurance due to their seamless process and rapid response times. Highly recommended for any pet owner looking for reliable coverage without the hassle!

Surgery for cancerous tumor not covered

And it just keeps getting better. Claim was rereviewed and several items still not covered for cancerous tumor removal. 1.) Anesthesia - NOT COVERED!!! I guess they give the dog a bullet to bite on while doing surgery since you can't give them whiskey like they did for humans back in the 1800s. 2.) Removal of the cancerous growth - NOT COVERED!!! Fatty tumors are not covered (I understand that), but I guess you just keep the cancerous tumors in the dog to spread to others areas and eventually kill the dog???!!! 3.) Pathology report - NOT COVERED. Will not pay for the report to verify all cancer was removed and no further treatments such as radiation or chemo are needed. What are my premiums paying for then?
