Cancelled Policy
I cancelled my policy with embrace because they were not reimbursing me once claims were approved. I paid upfront costs for services at my pet's vet and once Embrace approved the claims they just stated that it went towards my deductible. I'm confused because wouldn't that mean I would be reimbursed for the amount I spent for my pets visits and Embrace would reimburse me. Until I called in to find out what was going on and I was told I would first have to reach my deductible amount and anything beyond that could be reimbursed. Upon purchasing that wasn't explained to me. That's ok now that it has been but I would have liked to make a more informed decision had I known that upfront. Then many of my claims that weren't approved but was instead denied just seemed like a way to get out of covering the services. Just be sure that you are paying attention and asking all the correct questions to understand your plan for your pet needs prior to committing to a plan.

Policies were cancelled over a month ago. They still took money from my bank account after the Cancellation date. No way to call them to get it corrected. Horrible system. Thankfully they are closing there Alberta operations.

I cancelled the policy and they billed me rwo months and will not REUND me I can certainally recommend Lemonade pet Insurance cheaper better coverage service customer service excellent and you will be very happy I would never recommend SPOT over priced more than most insurance companies

Great follow through on submitted claims
I have 2 dogs that have been on this healthplan since they were 8 weeks old. One of my dogs was recently diagnosed with a heart condition. Spot Pet Insurance has been wonderful at paying the submitted claims. They even paid the medication prescribed and purchased from Chewy. I couldn't be happier.
