They don't pay for any wellness check…

They don't pay for any wellness check up, which means I am just paying my monthly fee for everyone else's pet for the past 3 years... and when I filed for reimbursement, they requested "complete health history"... Why are there so many hoops for pet parents to jump through just to get what I paid for back? It's a really horrible insurance and I felt scammed.

Not great. Long waits, no company accountability

The past few months I have experienced extremely long wait times, repetitive meaningless emails that give incorrect information about why my claim is being held back, and no accountability from the company on the lack of resolve or communication in the meantime. Prescriptions that I have submitted for years and years are suddenly having issues with refunds, and it’s taking more and more of my personal time to get these issues resolved. I honestly wouldn’t recommend this company anymore, and I used to work for them. 😕

Great Customer Care

The customer service department of Embrace Pet Insurance is well-trained and empathetic. Overall, I find their coverage to be good. They are always available to answer questions, and they are continually improving their website and app to make it easier to submit documents. I am on my third pet with Embrace. I would highly recommend them. They are not cheap, and prices go up annually, but it is good to have insurance when big bills come up.

Claims with pending diagnosis need a drop down box

When submitting a first claim for a full blood panel, there is no firm diagnosis. You should allow us to choose diagnosis under investigation or something like that. I had to make a stab at what I think it might be in order for the claim to be processed in a timely manner. What happens if my guess is wrong?

Wellness claim issUE

I submitted wellness claims for pet grooming and am getting the run-a-round since June, not sure what the problem is but nobody reads at the claim centre. This is ridiculous.Am still going back and forth. Totally unnecessary and annoying.

High premiums, manufactured evidence to deny claims

Fetch has denied claims for treatment of my dog’s hip dysplasia by citing pre-existing symptoms that my pet’s veterinarian believes are unreasonable and unrelated to hip dysplasia. When vet attempted to discuss reasons for claim denial, Fetch came up with different reasons not documented and refused to discuss documented reasons. Additionally, premiums have doubled in just 1 year. I am now paying $1,000 a year in premiums and they have paid out roughly $300 in claims. They have denied over $2,000 in claims for all manner of issues (not just hip dysplasia) Editing this review to address Fetch’s reply: my dog’s vet does not agree with the reasons you have documented for claim denial within the 6 month hip dysplasia exclusionary period. They believe the things you have documented were unrelated to hip dysplasia. However you refuse to have a conversation with my dog’s vet to hear their point of view. Also your definition of clinical sign is a change in behavior. But there was not a change in my dog’s behavior prior to and within the 6-month hip dysplasia exclusionary period - and I have photographs back to when he was 3 months old to prove it. But you refuse to discuss or consider. You simply want to deny claims so that you can maximize profits. As a practical matter, you do not cover hip dysplasia even tho you claim in your marketing materials that you do = fraud
