Great experience minus using the app

Really enjoy the scope of coverage and relative ease of getting claims approved. When I’ve had to call customer service they quickly connect you to a human being and are great at walking you through what is and isn’t covered. My only complaint is their app and website. The app regularly crashes on Apple devices, which forced me to use the website. Going through there crashed the claim once just uploading pictures. Again, great insurance and would recommend to folks. I just hope they can iron out technology kinks. Update 08/16/24. It doesn’t seem to allow you to reply to a response to the review. I’ve tried all the steps listed from the Embrace representative and have had numerous emails and phone calls to no avail. The app still crashes repeatedly on IPhone.

Timely response to my claim

Timely response to my claim. Would be nice if the insurance covered routine prescriptions such as Flea,Tick, and Heartworm.

It’s alright not sure yet

I give a three because I thought the wellness would have covered more. Maybe if I get the preventative medication that would be covered. I’m not 100 percent. I would like the pre existing condition to be listed as well and when they would go away.

Like every insurance company they just…

Like every insurance company they just take your money and don’t give you anything. I tried to get reimbursed for a persistent ear infection which we had to get a culture and some special medicine made up. This began them reviewing the dogs health and then deciding that what I requested was deemed ‘pre-existing’ so it wasn’t going to be covered. Typical insurance BS. Dog was insured from when she was a puppy.

Some technical difficulties but besides that very easy!

5 starts except that the last two claims I submitted had an unknown error on the website and they could not be submitted to I had to manually fill out a claim form and email it in. Which is super easy, just annoying to go through the online process for it to not work. Besides that ASPCA has been great and well worth it.

Can't submit a claim from 7 months ago - Really???

I have had my dog Lucy on Embrace for the past several years. I tried to submit a claim today for her 1-30-24 Vet visit (today is 8-8-24) but I was not permitted since it was older than 60 days after my renewal date (for 2024-2025 plan year). She was insured by Embrace on 1-30-24 during the 2023-2024 plan year, but since it was a claim from the previous plan year (for which I paid over $3000 in premiums), they would not permit me to enter the claim, which was for a Vet visit of just 7 months ago. This really sucks. I could understand if the Vet visit was over a year ago, but 7 months ago while she was insured with Embrace...come on Embrace, this is not the way to treat a repeat customer! My fault for not putting in the claim immediately, I will have to look into other insurance when renewal time comes for all three of my dogs.
