Signing up for pet insurance was easy

Signing up for pet insurance was easy. The person I talked to on the phone was very pleasant, answered my questions and emailed all the information I needed to look over before deciding on a policy. I called back the next day and again, she was very kind and helpful and got everything set up for our new fur baby.

our dog developed a bladder infection…

our dog developed a bladder infection with bladder stones. Treatment for these 2 conditions were vet-prescribed antibiotics and diet. Embrace refused to pay for the diet, even though it is FDA reviewed for the purpose of treating bladder stones. the staff tried to help me, but this was a hidden rule that we did not know about

I was disappointed that on $2,000…

I was disappointed that on $2,000 emergency bill I only received $980 approx. I understood $400 deductible but still believe number should have been a lot higher. Things like the exam were not covered. How do you bring pet in to emergency and not get an exam.

Absolutely Horrible Pet Insurance

I placed my first claim on 7/22/24. I provided ALL the medical documentation I have for my dog. I called after two weeks of hearing nothing and they stated I needed to submit all the medical records when I did. Then, they stated they are missing 2022. I explained she didnt go and I pushed her vaccines back and they are landed in Jan 2023. The gentleman said it wasn’t a problem. Here we are two weeks later and my claim is still saying i need to provide all medical records. Outrageous. I will be calling them again in the morning and demanding a refund for the two months I have paid for with no action and I’ll be cancelling my plan

As you stated in your review, medical records had been sent, but our customer care team inadvertently missed those being in the previous Healthy Paws account you had canceled, not in your current account. Now that we have those records, your claims has been opened for processing.

I have been an Embrace customer for six…

I have been an Embrace customer for six years with 3 dogs on my policy. They have always been there when I need to file my claims ranging from ER visits to specialized care for one of my dogs for Valley Fever which is difficult to treat. I am very happy with their customer service and fast claim service. And the mobile app makes submitting claims easy and quick and the repayments are fast.

The pet insurance scam!

Did not cover yearly routine exam and shots. My vet is very responsible on all their billing. But Spot only covered about 25% of expenses. Pet insurance needs to be regulated like human insurance. Pay for preexisting issues, birth defects etc.. Have copays not pay then reimbursement.

Solid policy. App needs work

I really like my insurance policy so far. I wish the app had an option to upload and attach files for claims. Right now you can only use the camera function, which isn’t helpful when most statements are no longer paper.
