Loyal Embrace Parents
We have been with Embrace for several years. We have never had any issues or complaints. Price is reasonable and gives us peace of mind for our 3 kitties. The Wellness Plan is our way to have the money to keep our kids vaccinated without worrying if we can afford it. Claims are processed quickly and customer service is always there for us. If people think you are nuts for having this coverage for your "kids", just tell them they are nuts for not having it!

Policy paid as promised
Our pug had an unexpected injury to his eye. He got a staph infection and almost lost it. He had multiple vet visits and 9 different meds. After almost 8 weeks of treatment, he is now infection free and his eye was saved! This was the first time we had to submit claims to Embrace. They reimbursed exactly as our policy promised and in a timely manner. So far, we are very pleased with Embrace.

Not what I expected
Not what I expected I wanted to like this pet insurance company, but I guess all insurance companies are the same. They all want your business but when you need them, they will find any reason to deny your claim. The short version is that my veterinarian died and closed his shop, so I couldn't get my puppy's records. We had an emergency and had to take her to a hospital (9 months after getting insurance and past the waiting period) submitted the claim and it was denied because I couldn't prove that it wasn't a pre-existing condition. I no longer need pet insurance but it was disappointing and heartbreaking, I will not be going with Embrace if I ever decide to adopt again.

First time experience with pet insurance
This is our first experience buying pet insurance. Fortunately, we haven’t had to use it and I hope we never have to. I just wanted to say that the agent who issued our policy was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. She was patient and answered all of my questions. At this point, I would recommend Embrace Pet Insurance to my family and friends.

Incompetent to say the least
I’ve never thought I would wait for 3 months to have a claim processed. The staff, from both - email and phone seems disinterested in solving my problem. I don’t know whether it’s just bad luck on my end or that is how this insurance company operates. Either way I suggest not to risk your pet’s health and look elsewhere. The moment I will receive what is owed to me I am immediately switching somewhere else, and telling my friends I recommended this insurance to do the same. Just horrific.

Waiting; Continued
So far, I have one vet bill embrace is sitting on waiting for soap notes from the vet who assured me the requested paperwork was provided. If embrace received them they haven’t notified me nor updated the claim status. UPDATE I reached out to the vet again, and they have provided the requested paperwork again, and copied me. So as of the 19th of August, Embrace has had all of the requested paperwork from the Vets. In the interim, my pet has had another visit to the vet, and I have another bill to submit, although I see no reason to hurry and submit it until I see the result of this initial bill. If this doesn't work out beneficially, I will not continue to hold this policy, so there won't be anyone to submit the new claim to. I am trying very hard to be coldly objective in this review. I cannot help commenting, however, on how fast Embrace was to let me know that they had not gotten their monthly payment, as opposed to the speed (lack thereof) they have moved to put my claim into the finished pile and issue a check. I'm guessing another week will finally result in some answer. I will re-submit another review after hearing from them.
