Claim submission has always been very easy and prompt. Our dogs have recently had a lot of health scares, and ASPCA Insurance did exactly what you'd hope your insurance would do; review claims and provide reimbursement promptly and transparently.

UNACCEPTABLE WAIT TIMES
The great thing about Embrace is that their customer service staff is always a pleasure to deal with. HOWEVER their wait times on the phone are up to an hour & also they are not processing claims nearly as quickly as they did when I first signed up with them years ago. Frequently there is a very long wait to receive my reimbursement. Often this necessitates my making several calls, more hold times, requests for me to contact my vet for new documentation, & having to submit documents which have already been submitted. Embrace you could sure do a lot better.

Claims were reimbursed without issue.
My claims were accepted without question. Processing and reimbursement were pretty quick. I found the website a bit difficult/unclear at times - didn't find out about the direct deposit option until after I had completed my first claim. Also it wasn't until I had started filling out my claim that I realized that they wanted all the vet notes in addition to the invoices. So this delayed things while I requested the notes.

Your customer service is outstanding, I can't say this enough times. My dog has been through an entire knee repair surgery, appointments trying to diagnose, treatment, and you have been there every step of the way helping me and paying claims. THANK YOU!!

Slow to pay claims
Took almost 6 weeks for claim to be processed and paid. My dog had surgery with a hefty bill that I needed to pay for out of pocket as Pets Best doesn't have a direct pay arrangement with my provider. It took 39 days to be reimbursed which was unacceptable in my opinion. It was a straightforward claim. I pay my premiums religiously on time (including the 20-30% annual increases), but when it came to getting my claim reimbursed, Pets Best took their time.

On August 30
On August 30, 2024 I had previously tried to cancel my insurance policy prior to the renewal date. The website was not allowing me to do so. After multiple attempts with system errors, on August 30th, I finally made a screenshot with the date stamp to confirm that my attempts were made prior to the renewal of my policy I have now been trying to chat with a Insurance advisor and currently sitting on hold for over 3 and a half hours, and still no resolution happening. To say I am frustrated is an understatement! It is now September 3rd with multiple attempts, multiple ways, I still have not been able to communicate with anyone.

Definitely worth having.
It was pretty simple to sign up for. Submitting a claim is also not that difficult. Does not take too long for them to process or let you knowbif more information is needed.
