I've been with Healthy Paws for 10…
I've been with Healthy Paws for 10 years, and every single year they've increased my premiums. At some point, they got very egregious with the scaling. In the past three years alone, it went from $60 to $100 to $140. Now what they want to do is reduce my bill by $5, but reduce my coverage significantly. They are going from a $250 deductible to a $500 deductible and from 90% coverage to 70% coverage for $5 a month in savings. This is absolutely nuts.

They take forever to reimburse pet expenses from veterinarian visits. Alway want medical history records even though you sent them already.

Chargeback after my claim was approved
My claim was approved, but after the reimbursement was issued, the funds were unexpectedly taken back. As a result, I never actually received the reimbursement I was entitled to, and it caused significant financial problems for me. I contacted Spot by phone and was told I would receive a follow-up email, but I never did. I also sent an email myself and have still not received any response. The most disappointing part has not been the mistake itself, but the complete lack of communication. I have been left without answers while trying to recover money that was already approved and should have been paid to me. At this point, I had no choice but to file a formal complaint with the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner.

The claims experience is a few dog years old.
The claims experience is prehistoric. When you submit a claim, there is a slow response and an audit of every claim. It's as though Fetch has never heard of the claims process nor how to modernize it. Suggestions are made, fall on deaf ears and never change.
